ABOUT CHEF JONN
From Ukraine to Israel to the United States, my journey as a chef has been anything but ordinary. I was just five years old when my family immigrated from Ukraine to Israel, and it was in my grandmother’s kitchens where my love affair with food began. With a blended family came blended tastes as I have a Ukrainian and a Livian grandmother from northern Africa and through them I was exposed to a diverse range of flavors and techniques from a young age.
By the time I was 15, I started working in service industry. As fate would have it, I found myself serving in the military as a pastry chef, and quickly rose up the ranks to become a kitchen manager for the air force base. But my passion for cooking didn’t stop there. Once my service concluded, I explored different positions, from sous chef at an Italian restaurant to the kitchen manager for a popular banquet hall.
From my humble beginnings in my grandmother’s kitchens to becoming a chef who has cooked for private clients , I’m passionate about creating unforgettable culinary experiences for people, and would love to do so for you.
